On the movement of the solar system: well yes, we know this. Basically we usually represent the solar system in terms of looking down on them from above so people can learn the ordering, but you have to remember that the sun isn't some stationary star in the middle of the milky way galaxy. It's moving! And we, those planets orbiting around it, must follow along with it due to gravity. Any rotating circle moving through space makes spirals, so we do too.

took myself out to lunch after tour guidin’. Ate Mexican food and watched Spain play soccer. Went skating in a graveyard where the headstones are all 1890s and wondered if the Howards knew them. The leaves were already falling under this giant elm and I sat long enough the sparrows forgot me. Skated to the Ohio and found an English Bulldog that needed pets: sun setting over the river.

Awhile back I did an interview with my favourite queer news website Autostraddle about comics and kissing ladies and it was awesome. The interviewer Intern Grace and I became fast friends afterwards, and then just this week she sent me a care package of AS goodies (including a sweet shirt!) and treats from her hometown!

…And I decided to get totally sexy with them I guess?! I like the sticker especially because it is good advice.
